College is the first step toward the career of your dreams, and BVU is equipped to help you climb higher with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff in Career Services.
Career Services is ready to help students from the moment they step on campus, and their support continues even after graduation. If you are undecided on a course of study, they can help you identify your strengths and interests so you can select a major.
Between the classroom and the workplace, there is another important aspect of education – the internship. In these placements, you learn more about your potential career and gain valuable experience to help launch you into the perfect fit after graduation. Career Services has a wealth of resources and connections to help you find an internship for summer or interim. The Career Services staff works with you and your faculty advisor to target the right placement so you can get a feel for the type of work you can do with your BVU degree.
Career Services can also assist in life after BVU. Every year, they host the Career Symposium, the BVU Job Summit and regular visits from recruiters, among other events. They can put you in touch with alumni in your field to get advice about careers, companies or graduate school. The staff is also available to help students compose a cover letter and resume, prepare for interviews and examine job offers.
