Spring Registration

  1. Log into BEAVERNet with the USERNAME and PASSWORD you enter to access your BVU email. If you need assistance, email 2fix@bvu.edu or call 749-2FIX (2349).

    1. You must be cleared by your advisor before you are able to register for classes.

    1. Choose “2022-2023 – Spring” for the Term dropdown.

    1. You are then taken to the Student Registration page

      1. Click on Register

    You can modify the course search by Course Code, Instructor, Department, etc. to get a shorter list. Then click the blue Search Courses at bottom.

    ***You can do this prior to your registration open date to find your classes

      1. Once you have found all of your courses, you can click the boxes in front of each course AND click Registration Checkout,

      2. YOU MUST CHECKOUT TO BE ENROLLED IN YOUR COURSES.

        1. Blue courses you are NOT registered – Green Courses you ARE registered

        2. You must be cleared by your advisor before you are able to register for classes.

          1. Special Course Needs: If you wish to take a course requiring instructor permission, you have a time conflict, or you plan to enroll in a directed study course, you need to visit the Academic Action section on BeaverNet to complete these tasks during your scheduled week. Please register for all other courses online and stop by the Registrar's Office later with any questions or issues you may have. For courses requiring permission, you will need to submit an Academic Action online that will be routed electronically. An approved Academic Action – Directed Study Request is required to enroll in a directed study course.

      1. It will bring up a box, you click the courses you want, click on Register.

        1. At this point it will check for repeats, co-requisites, pre-requisites, seats open and give you the appropriate warnings and messages.

      2. If all is clear you will get a “Successfully Registered” notification, listing the courses

    1. You can also get courses displayed by your degree audit and what is needed. The degree audits reflect the requirements under the 2021-2022 and future catalogs.

      1. Any missing requirement, you can click on the course with question mark and add it to your calendar

     

    1. To Drop A course

      1. Go to Calendar and click on the course you want to drop

        1. Select Drop course, the system will remove your course from the schedule

    1. Please note: BEAVERNet will not let you add a class which conflicts with another, nor let you go over 17.5 credits. It will, however, allow you to add a class that is a repeat. It will warn you that it’s a repeat, but be very careful, and make sure that you really want to add that.
