Dr. William Feis, BVU professor of history and civil war historian, appeared on C-SPAN's American History TV in September. During his appearance he talked about his book, Grant’s Secret Service: The Intelligence War from Belmont to Appomattox. The book explores the ways Union Gen. Ulysses S. Grant used military intelligence to help defeat his Confederate counterpart, Robert E. Lee.
