Introduction to Pharmacology
Students in "Introduction to Pharmacology" are learning about basic pathophysiology and discussing how medications treat a variety of diseases. The experience also involves studying the effects of pharmacological agents on cell viability and function.
Students in "Introduction to Pharmacology" are learning about basic pathophysiology and discussing the biology and chemistry that underlies how medications treat a variety of diseases. Their interactive learning experience also involves hands-on, cell culture-based laboratory work studying the effects of pharmacological agents on cell viability and function.
Teaching the course are two 2011 BVU graduates, Cassandra Pauley and Grant Turner. Cassandra is a fourth-year pharmacy doctorate student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). Grant is a fourth-year medical student at the UNMC.
