Check Out BVU at the Iowa State Fair
Sign the alumni wall, purchase Beaver spirit gear, and more
Buena Vista University alumni are asked to check out the BVU alumni booth at the Iowa State Fair. The booth attracted thousands of visitors years ago. Alumni shared memories of their Buena Vista experience while signing the alumni wall, which is back by popular demand.
“Two of the most well-known attractions in Iowa are RAGBRAI and the Iowa State Fair,” said BVU Director of Alumni Engagement Sarah Johnson. “We were pleased to see dozens of alumni as RAGBRAI overnighted in Storm Lake in July. We’ll keep the momentum going by visiting with hundreds of Beaver alumni who stop by our wonderful booth inside the Varied Industries Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds.”
BVU staff members will help enter alumni for a prize drawing at the fair booth. Alumni and friends can join current and future students in checking out the latest in Beaver gear from the BVU Spirit Store, available for purchase. The alumni wall, a blank slate as the Iowa State Fair begins, will soon be covered with the names and class years of those whose lives were changed for the better through their time at BVU.
