Buena Vista University Statue at the Iowa State Fair

If you attend the 2016 Iowa State Fair (Aug. 11-21) be sure to check out Buena Vista University's concrete statue. The creation is BVU's entry in a contest to help promote the Fair's theme, "Nothing Compares." It will be located near the Agricultural Building (home of the butter cow) on the fairgrounds.
The entry is titled "Nothing Compares to a Beaver's Day at the Fair." The back of the statue features photos of BVU's beloved mascot, Buford T. Beaver, enjoying himself at the fair.
