Step 4: General Education Exploration

A typical load for first year students is between 12 and 15 credit hours. Besides University Seminar, math, writing, ACES, major classes, you may have space in your Fall schedule to take one or two general education explorations courses. Ultimately, you will need to take 9 credit hours each in social sciences, sciences, humanities, and 3 credit hours in the fine arts. Your pre-advisor will place you in one or two of these exploration courses based on your input.
