Dr. Lauren Bellflower

Dr. Bellflower brings over a decade of marketing experience to the classroom, blending seven years of industry practice with six years of dedicated teaching. Her professional background spans diverse sectors, including marketing agencies, financial services, and real estate, giving her a practical, real-world foundation that informs her academic approach. This breadth of experience allows her to connect marketing theory with application, helping students see the immediate value of what they’re learning.

Currently, Dr. Bellflower teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Communications and Marketing at Western Governors University across five academic programs. She also serves as an adjunct instructor at the University of the Cumberlands and Southern New Hampshire University, and has previously taught at Belmont University and Nashville State Community College. She holds a Ph.D. in Business with a concentration in Marketing from the University of the Cumberlands, where her research focused on advancing the field of marketing education. Students benefit from her deep industry insights, practical case studies, and her passion for keeping content relevant in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

A self-proclaimed marketing nerd, Dr. Bellflower is always learning and enjoys exploring emerging trends in the field. Outside of academia, she enjoys volunteering with her sorority and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, developing a community of young professionals and supporting small businesses in her community.
