Blog Issue: Mon, 12 Jul 2010; There is currently an issue with the blog software. If your blog gives the following error: "Sorry! We couldn't find your document. Status Code 404 - Exception. The file that you requested could not be found on this server." try selecting a new Theme for your blog. We are working to resolve the issue, but this should get your blog back up and running quickly.

eText Study between U Cinncinati and OhioLINK: Thu, 22 Apr 2010; The University of Cinncinati and the Ohio library system are partering on an eText evalaution for studetns. From the article,"The survey found that 22 percent of the survey participants purchased the e-text, and that 41 percent of those e-text users reported preferring a digital textbook to the traditional hard-copy textbook. "

X Drive Access: Wed, 28 Apr 2010; X drives will be unavailable from 5:00 PM Friday February 12th through Monday morning due to maintenance that is being conducted on the server that hosts the drives.
This outage will affect Syncback, our back up software, as it will not be able to access your X drive when trying to complete backups.
Email Hoaxes: Wed, 28 Apr 2010; Computer users at universities worldwide now regularly receive email hoaxes, all of which take the same general form: the messages appear to come from the institution's IT service and are asking for your user name and password.
Repair of purchased Gateway laptops: Wed, 28 Apr 2010; As of December 1, 2008, BVU is unable to repair any Gateway laptops that have been purchased in the past due to the bankruptcy of MPC/Gateway. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.
