Follow the signs that guide you to Interstate 29. Take I-29 NORTH. At the exit for Missouri Valley (Hwy 30), take the exit and go east (to the right). You will follow Hwy 30 for in quite a while, through towns like Missouri Valley, Logan, and Dunlap. You will eventually come to Denison, Iowa (hometown of Donna Reed). There are a number of odd intersections Denison. At the first one, you will turn LEFT onto Hwy 59. You will go through another intersection and come to a stop sign at the intersection of Hwy 59 and Hwy 39. Turn RIGHT onto Hwy 39 and follow it as it winds its way north and east through several towns to Odebolt.

At Odebolt you will go north over a set of railroad tracks to a stop sign. Continue STRAIGHT. You will now be on M43. Follow it straight north until you come to an intersection for Hwy 20. You have to turn RIGHT at this intersection. Go less than a quarter mile to the next intersection and turn LEFT. This is the continuation of M43. Go north on M43 through one intersection with stop sign to another stop sign where you have to turn. If it is daylight, you should be able to see Storm Lake and the town around its shores from here. Turn LEFT then make the first RIGHT. You will be entering Hwy 110.

Go straight (north) on Hwy 110. As it enters Storm Lake, it becomes 5th street and goes through a residential area, past the hospital and into the downtown business district.

At the corner of 5th Street and Lake Avenue (our main street) you will see 3 banks. This is known as Bank Corners. Turn LEFT onto Lake Ave. You will pass a Hy Vee, Subway, gas stations, etc. and Amerihost Inn will be to your left. There will be a Super Wal-Mart across the street and to the north of the Amerihost Inn.
