Spring Break Camping on the Great Wall of China

A group of Buena Vista University students and faculty spent the night camping on the Great Wall during their Spring Break trip to China.

Dr. Wind Goodfriend, associate professor of psychology and Tim McDaniel, assistant professor of mathematics and business, are leading the trip. Both are seasoned world travelers, having made a total of 28 international trips for academic purposes during their tenure at BVU.

Students on the trip include: Karl Ahrendsen, junior physics and computer science/math double major from Clarion; April Allen, senior history, digital media double major from Sioux City; Kristen Bracker, senior philosophy/religion major from Underwood; Estefany Gonzalez, senior accounting major from Orange City; Jon Kenkel, senior computer science, management information systems double major from Irwin; Zach Lorenzen, junior corporate math and computer science/math double major from Manilla; Miguel Munoz-Gomez, senior biology and Spanish double major from Storm Lake; Tasha Nelson, junior biology major from Sioux Falls, S.D.; Kimberly Perez, senior biochemistry major from Brownsville, Texas; and Gwen Walton, junior psychology major from Granger.
