A group representing Buena Vista University’s computer science program aided the Young Women’s Resource Center (YWRC) during the Des Moines Charity Hack, held June 12-14. At the Charity Hack event, computer programmers provide free programming and software development to local non-profit organizations.

The group converted and upgraded registration forms for YWRC programs. They also created step-by-step guides to help staff edit the forms and export data, according to Bailey Purhman SL’13, Marketing & Events Coordinator for the YWRC.
“I was so excited to see Clark, Arik, Jon and Karl at the event,” says Bailey. “They had such valuable skills and really stepped up to lead the team.”
