Austin Dickinson joins the Beaver football coaching staff in 2012 and will help coach the offensive line. In addition to his coaching duties, he will also serve as the athletic department’s equipment manager.
Dickinson was a four-year letterwinner while playing defensive tackle for Coach Anderson and the Beavers from 2006-09, registering 123 total tackles, including 14 for a loss. He tallied a career-high 45 stops as a senior, while chalking up a career-best 6.5 for a loss as a junior when the team finished 7-3 overall.
After graduating in the spring of 2010 with a degree in sports management, Dickinson went on to serve two years as an assistant with the Minot State University program, working with the offensive line and tight ends.
Austin, a native of Woodbine, and his wife, Whitney, reside in Storm Lake.
