Students who have made the choice to avoid alcohol and tobacco have an option that will provide a living-learning environment free from the distractions of alcohol and/or tobacco use. All students living in Substance Free areas are required to sign a Substance Free Agreement at the same time a housing contract is signed in order to live in the designated residence hall. Substance free means that no alcohol or tobacco products (smoked or smokeless) will be permitted in the building. Currently, Liberty Hall is the only designated Substance Free residence hall on campus.
