The English Language Institute at BVU is a three week program held each summer designed to enhance English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Learning takes place through the use of texts, pictures, discussion groups, interaction with American film and other meaningful learning materials. By using film and other cultural material, the English instruction is enhanced by reinforcing language with familiar media.

Daily English instruction is combined with group activities to develop interpersonal skills and excursions to near-by locations to provide participants the opportunity to learn more about American culture and industry.

Students will not receive academic credit for this program and I-20s are not issued. International students who have been accepted into the program will need to apply for a B-1 (Visitor) Visa.

Fees for Summer 2011:

Rooms are double occupancy.  Transportation and Lodging costs for weekend excursions are included.  All participants must 18 years of age or older.
