Art & Architecture Complete™ is a research database for the study of art and architecture. This database provides full-text coverage of more than 330 periodicals and 215 books. In addition, Art & Architecture Complete offers cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for nearly 730 academic journals, magazines and trade publications. The database also provides an Image Collection of over 64,000 images provided by Picture Desk and others. This database covers a wide variety of pertinent subjects, art and art history, graphic design, photography, and much more.

ATLA Religion Database (American Theological Library Association) provides information on topics such as biblical studies, world religions, church history, and religion in social issues. ATLA contains more than one million bibliographic records covering the research literature of religion in 35 languages. It includes more than 537,000 article citations from 1,600 journals, more than 225,000 essay citations from 18,700 multi-author works, and over 494,000 book review citations. Coverage ranges from 1949 to the present.

Communication & Mass Media Complete (CMMC) provides the most robust collection of high-quality research in areas related to communication and mass media. In addition to the more than 600 journals that CMMC provides indexing and abstracts for, the database also features full text for more than 240 journals. A sophisticated Communication Thesaurus is available to researchers, and searchable cited references are provided for many of the journals covered by the database.

BVU's subscription includes over 6,000 titles in the Master Academic Collection, which spans all academic disciplines and subject areas. Titles are continuously added to this collection.

Gale's Literary Index is a master index to the major print literature series published by The Gale Group. It combines and cross references more than 146,000 author names, including pseudonyms and variant names, and more than 193,000 titles into one source. Use this index to locate biographies on authors and critical essays on their writings. For full text, consult print volumes in the library's Reference collection. Gale publications owned by the BVU Library can be located by searching for the source publication title in the library's catalog.

This database includes plot summaries, literary criticism, author biographies and interviews, book reviews, poetry and short stories. Information in this database is almost entirely full-text and is gathered from both literary reference books and literary journals.

MLA International Bibliography offers a detailed bibliography of journal articles, books and dissertations. Produced by the Modern Language Association, the electronic version of the bibliography dates back to the 1920s and contains over 2.2 million citations from more than 4,400 journals & series and 1,000 book publishers. Many languages other than English are represented in the database. Subjects covered in MLA International Bibliography consist of literature, language and linguistics, folklore, literary theory & criticism, dramatic arts, as well as the history, theory and practice of teaching language and literature.

Philosopher's Index is a bibliographic database with informative author-written abstracts for journal articles, books, contributions to anthologies, and book reviews, published from 1940 to the present. Over 6200 journals from more than 40 countries are covered. The database contains over 400,000 records and is updated quarterly.

PsycINFO, from the American Psychological Association (APA), contains nearly 2.3 million citations and summaries of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines. Journal coverage, which spans 1887 to present, includes international material selected from more than 2,000 periodicals in more than 25 languages. More than 60,000 records are added each year. PsycINFO also includes information about the psychological aspects of related disciplines such as medicine, psychiatry, physiology, pharmacology, sociology, education, nursing, linguistics, anthropology, business and law.
