Peterson Honored With Friends of BVU Council Bluffs Award

Susan Peterson CB’84 of Avoca was honored with the Friends of Buena Vista University Council Bluffs Award at the location’s graduate banquet on May 11, 2012. Susan is retired from the AHST School District (Avoca, Hancock, Shelby, Tennant) where she most recently served as principal for 6 years.
Susan is currently a consultant working for school improvement, meeting with principals around the nation. She has taught as an adjunct faculty member in English and secondary education and supervised teachers for BVU at Council Bluffs. She is a proud ambassador for Buena Vista and is a member of the Council Bluffs educational advisory committee.
Faculty awards and top student awards were also presented at the banquet.
