Digital Media Undergraduate Programs

The digital media programs at Buena Vista University prepares students to become professional multimedia storytellers. From the beginning, you will work with digital media tools including audio, video, digital photo, and a variety of software editing and publishing packages. As a DIGI student, you have creative control: pitch your own story ideas, then produce them with state-of-the-art technology in our media studios.

At BVU, the storytelling experience goes way beyond our digital media undergraduate programs! Become a part of campus media, join your fellow Beavers to broadcast live, share the news, or stream your podcast. Advocate for the First Amendment through student organizations. Explore the magic of Disney or the beauty of Ireland through travel experiences.

Facilities and Equipment

Located in the heart of campus, Lage Communications Center is full of state-of-the-art tools for digital content creators. Audio and video production studios, a journalism lab, and digital editing suites are just the beginning. We give all digital media major students open access to equipment and facilities so they can practice and create. You’ll join a supportive community ready to help you use this gear to help tell your story!
