On The Mark: BVU Hits the Target with Academic Partners
It may be playing a part in pioneering cancer research at the Mayo Clinic… helping with ape communication research at the Great Ape Trust of Iowa…interning with NBC’s Meet the Press or the Minnesota Vikings…or learning from one of the leading orthopedic surgeons in Northwest Iowa who has volunteered his work on campus for 20 years.
These and many other learning opportunities are made possible because of the cooperation of dozens of partners. They are partnerships that may be based on formal agreements, or simply originated through casual arrangements that may have started years ago through correspondence, a phone call, or a conversation and a hand shake.
