Matt Nelson SL’00 is a financial representative at Country Financial. He lives in Lee’s Summit, Mo. Chad Nation CB’00 is the news editor of the Council Bluffs Daily Nonpareil.

Heath Staedtler SL’00 and Nicole (Fahr) Staedtler SL’01 announced the birth of their daughter, Isabella Grace, on Aug. 28, 2010. They live in Spencer. Deanna (Schuler) Hoversten SL’00 lives in Story City with her husband, Nick. Sherry (Jones) Shaefer SL’01 accepted a position as a high school math teacher for Sioux City Schools. She lives in Cherokee.

Jacob Vollertsen SL’01 accepted the position of manager of collections for student accounts at the University of Missouri. He lives in Olathe, Kan. Abram Anders SL’01 is assistant professor of business communication at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Ann Ellis SL’01 is director of underwriting at Dakotacare. She lives in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Melinda (Horstman) Pallone SL’01 was united in marriage to Stephen on June 19, 2010. The couple resides in North Liberty. Nicole Fritz-Kemna SL’01 lives in Algona with her husband Tom. She is the sales and marketing administrator for American Power Group, Inc. Kerri (Hartman) Halverson SL’01 lives in Winterset with her husband, Chad. She is a daycare provider. They have three children.

Matt Pithan SL’01 and Kelly (Slizewski) Pithan SL’01 welcomed their second child, Allison Renee, on Oct. 22, 2010. The family resides in Faribault, Minn. Jovan Lausterer SL’01 is a partner in the law firm of Bromm, Lindahl, Freeman-Caddy, and Luasterer in Wahoo, Neb. Nicole (Koeppen) Thompson SL’02 and husband, Grant, welcomed their first child, Gavin, on March 1, 2010. She is the human resources manager at Tyson Foods. The family lives in West Des Moines.

Jim Sellers SL’02 was promoted in June 2010 to national accounts telephone sales representative for Tyson Foods, Inc. He was united in marriage to Brenda (Meyers) Sellers on Aug. 14, 2010. Eric Schneider SL’02 is a finance specialist at ConAgra Foods, Inc. He lives with his wife, Stacey, in Bennington, Neb. Jennifer (Bruns) Ostercamp SL’02 was united in marriage to Zack Ostercamp in August 2010. She is the senior client service assistant for Principal Financial Group. The couple resides in Manly.

Eric Lance SL’02 is senior business development manager for Shoutlet. He lives in Denver, Colo. with his wife, Kelly. Rachael Bossow SL’03 graduated with an Associate Degree in Science in Nursing at National American University. She works at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Mo. Jason Jones OT ’03 was united in marriage to Rachel on July 24, 2010. They reside in Fairfield.

Clint Czizek SL’03 works as the principal of an elementary school in South Beloit, Ill. His wife, Autumn (Olberding) Czizek SL’04, is a reading specialist. They reside in Rockton, Ill. Jennifer (Fields) King SC’03 accepted a position with Kellogg’s as procurement manager for contract manufacturing. She was relocated to Richland, Mich. where she resides with her husband, Justin.

Trent Grundmeyer SL’03 and Angela (Rowedder) Grundmeyer SL’05 live in Indianola. Trent is the principal at Indianola High School. Angela is a physicians assistant for Mercy Hospital. Kelly Van De Walle SL’03 and Jessie (Weishaar) Van De Walle SL’04 welcomed their daughter, Sloane Rae, on Aug. 3, 2010.

Ellen Van de Mark SL’03 lives in Silver Spring, Md. She is a tape producer for CNN. Jacquie Lonning SL’03 was awarded the Dream Catcher award from USD, recognizing an individual representing the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. She is a graduate student at Portland State University and lives in Portland, Ore. Greg Johnson SL’03 and Marsha (Loerzel) Johnson SL’04 live in Cedar Rapids. Greg is a financial advisor for Johnson Insurance.

Justin Barber SL’03 is a high school math teacher at Newell- Fonda High School. He lives in Newell with his wife, Amy (Nieland) Barber SL’03. Paul Mathews EC’04 was promoted to lieutenant (o-3) of USN and will be stationed in Rio de Janeiro for two years. Nathanael Aguilar SL’04 is an adjunct faculty member of the Distance Education Program at William Penn University. He is pursuing a PhD in education from Walden University. He lives in Schaller with his husband, Cesar.

Abigail (McCorkel) Tibbetts SL’04 accepted the position of assistant athletic trainer for Buena Vista University. She lives with her husband Cody in Alta. Muffin Morris SL’04 is the head athletic trainer for Wayne State College. She lives in Wayne, Neb. James Mitchell SL’04 and Lacey (McDevitt) Mitchell SL’05 live in Coralville. James is a financial institution examiner for FDIC.

Grant Gerlock SL’04 and Katie (Binkard) Gerlock SL’04 welcomed their daughter, Charlotte Martha, on Sept. 24, 2010. Chris Williams SL’04 is the assistant men’s tennis coach for the Air Force and lives in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Cory Kennedy SL’04 and Becky (McCusker) Kennedy SL’05 live in Ankeny. Cory is the marketing and communications director of Iowa Sports Foundation. Danielle Hay SL’05 was united in marriage to Kyle Miller SL’05 on May 22, 2010. The couple resides in Columbus, Ohio. Brett Selk SL’05 is assistant manager at Fareway Grocery Stores, Inc. in Council Bluffs. He married Melissa Unruh in October 2010.

Kristin Fick SL’05 is a psychology instructor at Southeast Technical Institute. She lives in Sioux Falls, S.D. Pat Wilsbacher SL’05 is account manager for NCMIC Group Insurance Company. He lives in Waukee. Jaclyn Hugg SL’05 is the student success coordinator for San Diego State University. She lives in El Cajon, Calif.

Samantha (Petersen) Allemang SL’05 and husband Jon live in Omaha, Neb. Sam is a senior graphic design consultant with Gallup. Sam and Jon welcomed their first child, daughter Alexis Grace, on July 11, 2010. Patrick Utz SL’05 and Amanda (Garner) Utz SL’05 welcomed their daughter, Isabelle Kathryn on Oct. 5, 2009. Patrick is a lead IT application analyst at Principal Financial Group. Amanda is a stay at home mom and photographer. They reside in Ankeny.

Geoffrey Gonseth SL’05 is a batching technician 3 for Novartis Animal Health US, Inc. He lives in Sioux Falls, S.D., with his wife, Hollie. Alison (Olberding) Angstrom SL’05 and Aaron Angstrom welcomed their daughter, Brayleigh. The family resides in Dakota City. Michael Irvin SL’05 has been selected to serve as the new assistant principal and activities director at Clarinda High School.

Brian Whitmore SL’05 and Kimberly (Groat) Whitmore SL’07 live in Fort Dodge. Kimberly is the director of human resources for Iowa Central Community College. Nolan Grimm SL’06 was promoted to sales manager at Allied Insurance. He lives in Eden Prairie, Minn. Tomas Thayer SP’06 is the upward bound coordinator for Iowa Lakes Community College. He lives in Emmetsburg with his wife, Kay.

Thomas Stewart SL’06 is a legislative assistant for the Office of Congressman Leonard Boswell. He lives with his wife, Taylor in Baltimore, Md. Rick Nourse SL’06 and Amanda (Christie) Nourse SL’07 welcomed their son, Charles, on Sept. 5, 2010. The family resides in Menlo. Jody Wildeboer SL’06 lives in Cordova, Ala. She is the director of the Salvation Army Cordova Outpost.

Nesha Francic SL’07 is an economic growth assistant for the United States Agency for International Development and lives in Honduras. Mandy (Thompson) Sticha SL’07 was united in marriage to Mike on June 26, 2010. She works at For Rent Media Solutions. They live in New Prague, Minn. Megan (McBride) Larson SL’07 was united in marriage to Matthew on June 19, 2010. She works as a preschool teacher at Pella Early Learning Center. They reside in Otley.

Christina Blackcloud-Garcia MT ’07 is pursuing a masters degree in public policy. Mark Joekel SL’07 is assistant video director of Wyoming University Athletics. He lives in Laramie, Wyo. Brad Hughes SL’07 works for Robb & Stucky Interiors in Las Vegas, Nev. Nicholas Bretz SL’07 and Beth (Viet) Bretz SL’09 live in Hampton. Nicholas is a science teacher for Hampton Dumont Middle School and Beth is a marketing consultant for ABCM Corp. Jason DeBode SL’07 and Natasha (Neubauer) DeBode SL’09 live in Auburn, Ala.

Benjamin Bobier SL’07 is a recent graduate of Upper Iowa University with a master of public administration. He is attending Capella University to earn his doctorate in organization and management. Michael Pomeroy SL’07 lives in Omaha, Neb.

Luke is the program coordinator of the Iowa Department of Human Rights - Office of Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs. The family resides in Des Moines. Jean Shelton SL’07 lives in Des Moines. Katie (Luitjens) Larson SL’08 was united in marriage to Todd Larson on Oct. 9, 2010. She was promoted to southeast regional sales manager of Bedford Industries. The couple resides in Knoxville, Tenn.
