Student Handbook

The provisions of the Buena Vista University Student Handbook do not constitute an irrevocable contract between Buena Vista University and its students. The handbook is distributed to students to inform them of current policies, procedures, activities, and requirements, any of which may be altered from time to time. BVU reserves the right to change any provision or requirement at any time prior to the student receiving a degree.

The BVU Student Handbook is provided to you so that you have easy access to the information and policies that you need to be a member of our community. Since you are responsible for knowing and understanding all of its content, we invite and urge you to read it carefully. While your Student Handbook contains both co-curricular and academic information, please refer to your BVU Academic Catalog for complete academic information.

We encourage you to stop by to visit with us, ask questions and share your ideas. Regular office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
