Resident Assistant Information

The office of Residence Life employs students in two different leadership positions in the residence halls. Community Coordinators (CCs) and Resident Assistants (RAs) are trained in a wide variety of areas including but not limited to: roommate issues, conflict resolution, referencing University resources, promoting involvement opportunities, submitting work orders and educating and enforcing University policies. CCs and RAs are also effective in solving problems and are good listeners when you just need someone to talk to. CCs are experienced RAs who have been promoted to take on a more administrative role in the residence halls. RAs on the other hand, can be student leaders serving in their first year. If you are considering applying for an RA position, please review the timeline below and apply once applications become available at the end of February.
