Education Coordinator/Advisor- LeMars/Sheldon
The Education Coordinator/Advisor's duties include working in a region of Buena Vista University’s Graduate and Professional Studies education program for PK-12 teacher certification. Duties are related to placement and supervision of teacher aides and student teachers and advising teacher education students and maintenance of student and departmental records, and other duties as assigned by the Enrollment Manager. Duties include recruitment of new education students, retention of current and stop out students and advising students from the point of interest to graduation on their program of study, financial aid counseling and career opportunities. Bachelor's degree, documented experience in academic advising in an education program and a valid driver’s license required. Master's degree in an education field or Master's degree in any discipline coupled with teaching certification preferred. A background check will be conducted on the final candidate.
