Mathematics with Secondary Education Major

Kelli became a member of Team Wellness her junior year. She has always enjoyed the topics of exercise, nutrition, health, and longevity and loves to educate people on these topics so they can lead a happy, healthy life. Kelli really became inspired to join Team Wellness after her dad was diagnosed with Stage II Melanoma. He is cancer free now, but as a seven-year tanner, Kelli was really impacted. She vows to practice safe sun and it is one issue she really wants to make people aware of at BVU.

Many cancers don’t occur until middle age, this cancer however, occurs in many young people. Raising awareness and making students enjoy wellness is my ultimate goal.
Along with Team Wellness, Kelli is vice president of Esprit De Corps, a member of Alumni Association Student Board (AASB), Science Club, and SCATE.  She works as an Academic Assistant for a math professor as well. After graduation in 2012, Kelli plans on becoming a high school math teacher and would love to coach one day as well.
