This event is $5 and can be paid the day of the event. Join us on for our first fun walk/run on the 101st Annual Buenafication Day! This colorful event will feature a DJ and a special warm up before the race. Event registration will start at 12:30 p.m. and the event will start at 1 p.m. The event is open to campus and community members! Individuals from campus are encouraged to walk to the race.
Registration will take place at the Buena Vista University Fehr Facilities Building at 1100 Vestal Street. If it is raining we will be in the Fieldhouse.
For the event bring your craziest costume, fun spirit, and shoes for a great race! All proceeds will support Community Education youth recreation programs and financing registration fees for youth in the community to participate in activities year round.
Purpose of the event:
- To offer a healthy option to make a positive contribution to the Storm Lake Community
- To educate participants about the local needs of the community.
There will be no refunds for tickets. In the case of a weather delay please listen to local media outlets for instructions. Race registration fee only covers participating in the event. This event will not involve the throwing of color or corn starch.
