Career choice is a process, a series of decisions that take place over your entire work life. You'll integrate your career decisions with others like "where do I want to live," "what values do I hold," and "what talents and skills do I most want to develop." We offer several assessment tools that may offer some guidance as you begin this important process. Contact careerservices@bvu.edu for access.
FOCUS: a self-guided, personalized career and education planning system.
Whole Brain Assessment: a career assessment tool that includes personality and learning preferences. (please see career services)
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: measures personality preferences as they relate to career choice ( please see career services)
Your Career Services staff are available for one-on-one career coaching any time during your college career.
