Location

Harold Walter Siebens School of Business/Siebens Forum. Enter from College Avenue (covered staircase down to the Forum which is an underground building).

Parking

You may park in either of the two parking areas on College Avenue and 3rd (lots K and L) and go through the east entrance (covered staircase) to the Siebens Forum. If you have difficulty walking or using stairs, please contact us in advance for special arrangements.

Friday Arrival

Hors d’oeuvres will be served in the Siebens Forum Dows Conference Center from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner served from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. When you enter the building there will be signs to direct you. Please check in at the registration table in Dows during those hours. Your guest is welcome to attend Friday’s reception and dinner.  Please indicate "2" instead of "1" on the RSVP and list their name if you are planning to bring a guest.  (Late arrivals please check in at Saturday’s breakfast.)

Accommodations

A block of rooms is being held at King's Pointe (712.213.4500) and Super 8 (712.732.3063). We ask that you make your reservation directly with the motel. Please mention you are with the BVU Faculty Development Conference to receive a reduced rate. If you reserve by October 14 your motel charge will be billed directly to the University. (Please cancel your own reservation if you are unable to attend.)

Saturday Arrival

A breakfast buffet will be served in the Siebens Forum Dows Conference Center from 8 – 8:45 a.m. If you are attending the conference on Saturday only, please check in at breakfast.

Honorarium

All faculty participants who attend the conference in Storm Lake will receive a $150 honorarium for active participation in all sessions. Mileage expenses will be the responsibility of the faculty member and will not be reimbursed by the University.

If you prefer a vegetarian or special diet meal, please contact Barb at 712-749-2250 as soon as possible. We are happy to accommodate your requests.
