


About Shelby: Born 12/8/91...is the daughter of Joe and Jolene...has one brother, Austin.
High School Highlights: Was a two-time letterwinner and served as the JV captain during her sophomore season. Aside from soccer, also lettered once in cross country. In addition to her athletics, Ripperger was a member of the National Honor Society and also received an academic letter.
College Highlights: In her first year as a Beaver, Shelby started all 17 games, scored five goals, had a team-high five assists and totaled 15 points, earning her the team's Newcomer of the Year award. Her first career goal came during the team's 4-3 win at Crown College on September 10, 2010. She also scored a goal and turned in two assists against both Faith Baptist and Martin Luther Colleges. As a sophomore in 2011, she finished third on the team with five goals. Among her best games of the year was a one-goal, one-assist performance against Finlandia University. She moved herself into the top-10 on the program’s goals, assists and total points list for a career. She will serve as a team captain in 2012. Aside from playing soccer, she has also volunteered on campus during one of the annual AWOL spring break trips.
