



Senior Kylie Hammer posted a second round 82 on Saturday at the IIAC Championships and is in a tie for fifth, individually, while the Buena Vista women's golf team sits sixth.
Hammer's 82 has her one stroke out of fourth and five strokes behind third. Kylie Woodley turned in her second straight round of 90 and is tied for 26th - 13 shots back of a top-10 spot. Arrinda Abbuhl followed her round of 90 on Friday with a 91 on Saturday and is right behind Woodley in 28th. Lauren Doherty improved her score by two shots and is in 30th, while Kassie King shaved four strokes off her opening round score.
BVU's overall score of 706 is 20 shots behind fifth-place Simpson College and 19 in front of Coe College, who's in seventh.
Central's Sarah Paulson turned in an even-par round of 72 on Saturday to widen her overall lead to six shots over Wartburg College's Paige Klosterman. Paulson reaches the midway point at just three-over for the championships.
The Dutch, who trailed the Knights by only a stroke after the opening round, will arrive at Lake Creek Country Club near Storm Lake next weekend trailing by eight shots (639-647). Luther is in third at 679.
The third round is scheduled to begin at 10:00am on Friday, October 7th.
