Chelsea Anderson gets set to begin her third season as head coach of the women's golf team in the fall of 2011. After taking over a team that was unattached in 2007, she has since guided them to just four strokes out of a fourth place finish at the 2010 Iowa Conference Championships. The program also posted an all-conference golfer this past season for the first time since 2007.
Anderson, who graduated from BVU in December of 2007 following a four-year stint as a member of the Beaver golf team, was a four-time letterwinner for the Beavers and recorded her best finish at the Iowa Conference Championships as a senior when she took third. She also captured two other top-10 finishes that season, including medalist honors at the Central College Fall Invite. As a team, the Beavers recorded a pair of top-3 IIAC Championship finishes during her career, including second place in 2005.
Anderson graduated from Buena Vista with a degree in marketing and currently resides in Storm Lake.
