High School Highlights: Was a five-time letterwinner and All-Eastern Dakota Conference selection in tennis for the Bruins. He was a team captain in 2008 and was a state runner-up in doubles play in 2009.
College Highlights: In his first season with BVU in 2011-12, he played all 16 of his singles matches from the number one slot. He also teamed with Jason Ehrhardt to win a team-leading six doubles matches – all from the number one slot. Following the year, he was voted on by his teammates as the Most Improved Player.
