A Message From Coach Wiebers

Thank you for your interest in Buena Vista University and our men's golf program. We are very fortunate to have outstanding facilities, both athletically and academically, which allow us the resources we need to be successful. Whether it is in the classroom or on the golf course, you will be challenged to be the best that you can be and graduate from here prepared to continue that success throughout the rest of your life.

Our golf program not only has the privilege of playing a very demanding schedule, but we also have the opportunity to play a very demanding course each and every day. Our home course, Lake Creek Country Club, provides a layout that challenges the player in a variety of ways from tee to green and is always kept in ideal playing condition. Each year we host one of the best tournaments in the Midwest as over 20 teams gather to compete over 36 holes at Spencer Country Club and Lake Creek Country Club. Two out of the last four years the eventual National Champion competed in the tournament, in addition to many nationally ranked teams.

Obviously, the goal of our program is to pursue excellence and work to be the best we can be as individuals and as a team. However, it is very important to have a group of guys that supports and motivates each other as well. With that type of support, not only will you have the opportunity to help us accomplish our lofty goals, but you will also make friends that will last the rest of your life.
