Brunick Earns All-Conference Accolades; Men's Golf Takes Fifth

Buena Vista senior Mitch Brunick fired a 76 on Saturday during the final round of the 2012 Iowa Conference Men’s Golf Championships, and took sixth overall to earn all-conference accolades for the first time in his career. As a team, BVU finished fifth after a final round of 318. READ MORE

The Buena Vista men’s golf teams combined to place four golfers in the top-15 individually over the weekend to close out its annual BVU Spring Invite held out at Lake Creek Country Club. The “A” team took fifth overall (611), while the “B” team was 12th. A total of 19 teams competed in the two-day event. Buena Vista senior Troy Ticknor turned in a 1-over 73 and is tied for third after the opening round of the BVU Men’s Golf Spring Invite, held on Friday out at Lake Creek Country Club. Lenhart to Retire as Equipment Manager

Buena Vista Interim Director of Athletics Brian Van Haaften has announced that Bob Lenhart will retire at the conclusion of this athletics season. Lenhart has served as the department’s equipment manager for the last 14 years. READ MORE
