About Austin: Born: 5/12/93…is the son of Mike Gibbs and Kathy Pinkerton…has one brother, Shane, as well as three sisters, Sally, Rowan and Brenna.
High School Highlights: He earned three varsity letters for the Toreadors, while being named First Team All-District and being recognized on the Academic All-State team. In addition, he was a three-year letterwinner in track and a two-year state qualifier. He also lettered once in baseball. Aside from athletics, he was his senior class Valedictorian, on the Scholastic Honor Society, received the Governor’s Scholar Award and was an Academic All-State selection in football.
College Highlights: Played primarily as a member of the junior varsity team as a freshman in 2011.
