About Jalen: Born 2/18/94...is the son of Mark and Jeannie Henningsen, who each played basketball at BVU....his mother Jeannie is the women's basketball program's all-time leading scorer and a BVU Athletic Hall of Famer...has one sister, Jordan, who is a sophomore at BVU and a member of both the women's basketball and volleyball teams.
High School Highlights: He was a three-year letterwinner for the Warriors where he was a First Team All-District and Second Team All-State selection. In addition to football, he was also a three-time letterwinner in baseball, earning First Team All-District, First Team All-District and First Team All-State accolades. He was a starting outfielder on the Warriors' state qualifying team as a senior, hitting .400 with 49 runs scored and 35 stolen bases. He also lettered three times in basketball and was a four-year letterwinner in track and field. Aside from athletics, Jalen was also a member of his high school's National Honor Society.
