About Alex: Born 11/14/1992...is the son of John and Kathy...has two sisters, Jordan and Darcy.

High School Highlights: Was a four-time letterwinner in cross country for the Lynx and a three-time all-conference runner, including a runner-up finish at the North Central Conference meet as a senior. He was also a two-time All-District runner and a three-time state qualifier. In addition to cross country, he lettered four times in track and field and was an all-conference runner in both his junior and senior seasons. He was a two-time state qualifier as part of the 4x800 meter relay team.

College Highlights: Alex turned in a solid freshman campaign for the Beavers in 2011. He ran the team’s fastest time in each of the six events, including a personal season-best clocking of 27:02 at the Iowa Conference Championships where he finished 34th overall among the 170 runners who took part.
