About Jeremy: Born 1/23/91...is the son of Dan and Kim Wendel...has two sisters, Tamara and Tara, as well as two brothers, Jordan and Vince.
High School Highlights: Was a four-year letterwinner in baseball for the Cyclones. As a senior, he earned First Team All-Conference, First Team All-District, First Team All-State (INA) and First Team All-State (Coaches Association) honors. In addition, he was a two-year letterwinner in basketball where he was a Second Team All-Conference selection as a senior. He also lettered one year in football. Aside from athletics, he was listed on the Honor Roll all four years and was a member of the National Honor Society.
College Highlights: Transferred to BVU after playing two years at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge where he was an Academic All-Region selection in both 2011 and 2012. He started 13 games in 2012 for a Triton team that finished 39-21. For the year, he tallied three doubles, eight RBI and also scored eight times.
