Men's Tennis Edged by Coe and Augustana (S.D.) on Saturday

The Buena Vista men's tennis team hosted Coe College and Augustana College (S.D.) on Saturday and were edged by each team on the day, falling to the Kohawks 7-2 in the opener and 6-3 to the Vikings.

Cole Renken and Kyle Schade each won a pair of singles matches to highlight the day for the Beavers.  With his two wins, Renken improves to 4-3 overall, while Schade is now 3-2.

Renken also teamed up with Keifer Nevius to win the team's only doubles match of the day, defeating the Vikings' number three tandom, 8-2.

Buena Vista now sits at 3-4 overall this season (1-2 IIAC) and will return to the courts on Saturday, March 10, when it hosts Cornell College at 10:00am and Doane College at 3:00pm.  Those matches will mark the final home contests for BVU this spring.
