Taking from his own experiences as a student at BVU, Seth Shatto uses his special insight to show students how BVU can help them accomplish their goals. “I really loved my time as a student at BVU, and now, as an admissions counselor, this is my opportunity to give back and help students find what they’re looking for in a college,” says Seth.
From the day Seth set foot on campus during his first visit, Seth knew that BVU was the place for him. “Because I felt so welcomed right away, I just knew that BVU and the city of Storm Lake were the best fit for me,” he says. Some of Seth’s best memories as a student were spent traveling and making friends, especially with his wrestling teammates.
Now, Seth looks forward to building new relationships with students and getting to know more about them and their interests. Seth also demonstrates to students how they will build real-life experiences both on campus, as well as through academic travel and internship opportunities.
Seth is from Estherville and graduated from BVU in May 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. When Seth isn’t showing students and their families around campus, you can find him working out in the rec center, playing frisbee golf, or volunteering his time as an assistant for the wrestling team.
