“I’m constantly working to become an expert at all things BVU so that I can answer any question and truly make a difference to students as they’re searching for the right college.” For Katie, who graduated in May 2017, learning about BVU and getting involved comes easy thanks to all the fun opportunities.
One of her first and favorite memories was attending a football night game where the game day spirit brought together an entire community. “I was impressed by how well everyone knows each other, and how excited they were to cheer the Beavers on to a victory,” she said. Katie also likes to tell students about the variety of academic programs, internships, and the high job placement rate students see after graduation. Some opportunities that stand out amongst others for Katie are the chances to join athletics, intramurals, or form your own club or organization.
Katie said that there are many unique aspects about BVU, but the best is the lakeside location with a beach and rec house filled with equipment for students to check out- even in the winter! But, when she isn’t outside, Katie spends time watching movies, reading, and baking up sweet treats to share with her friends and family.
