“…able to refine my skills in a leadership position”

Lindsay R. Peoples, Class of 2012

Lindsay R. Peoples

Hometown: Brown Deer, Wis.
Majors: Digital Media and Graphic Design/Visual Communication
Internship: O, Oprah Magazine in New York City

“Oprah Magazine was the last internship of my college career, and the opportunity really opened my eyes to other types of magazines such as lifestyle magazines that focus on not just fashion, but food, home décor, etcetera. The experience was amazing and I was really able to refine my skills in a leadership position. Even more importantly, I learned what I didn’t want do in my career because you should never commit to something that you’re not passionate about.”
