The F.C. Tucker scholarship is a $1500.00 award to the student who best demonstrates the values and principles that we consider crucial to running a successful business. In order to win the scholarship, students will have to demonstrate their personal values through an essay and attached personal statement.
While students who have a history of active involvement in leadership positions or the community will be at an advantage, all eligible students are encouraged to apply. The winner will be chosen based on the quality of their personal essay and the character reflected in their personal statement.

The Iowa Hospital Association (IHA) is proud to continue the Health Care Careers Scholarship program for the ninth year. Available through the Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF), an IHA subsidiary, these scholarships of up to $6,000 ($3,000 per year for a maximum of two years) each have supported higher education for 296 Iowa college students.
The ultimate goal of this program is to fill Iowa health care positions that currently have a notable number of openings by offering significant financial support to students seeking health care education or training. Giva's corporate student scholarship and grant award is for anyone attending a college or university and is aimed at assisting undergraduate or graduate students further their education. There is no specific course of study or major required.
Eligibility: All students, regardless of major, currently attending a college or university degree program either full or part-time are eligible and encouraged to apply. Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation Scholarships are available in amounts up to $6,000 ($3,000 a year for a maximum of two years). In 2010, thirty-one $3,000 scholarships were awarded.
The goal of this program is to fill healthcare positions that currently have a significant number of openings across Iowa. Selected students must be willing to commit to working one year in an Iowa hospital. This is a LOAN program available to Iowa residents and may be extended to out-of-state students attending an Iowa college/university. Applicants must show financial need and have completed at least one year of college. A transcript must be submitted to show evidence of further academic success (sophomores must have a 2.75 CGPA and juniors, seniors and graduate students must have a 2.5 CGPA. Three character references need to be submitted as well. Student may borrow up to $2000/year up to an aggregate total of $6,000. Principal payments need not be made until the loan recipient's education is completed or discontinued. Current interest rate is 6% per year and payments should be made in semi-annual installments.
