Visit Campus

The best way to learn for yourself

We'll tailor a visit just for you, depending on what you want to experience. Chat with students and professors like you normally would after class. Sit in on DNA research or a business analysis discussion. Meet an award-winning coach with years of experience in a sport you're passionate about. Participate in a fine arts audition or an outdoor rec activity on the lake with your parents.

"As soon as I saw the residence halls and the rest of campus, I knew right away I wanted to go to BVU. This was the first school that I had visited that truly wasn’t missing a thing."

Your admissions file should include:

  • A completed application for admission
  • Official high school transcript if applicant is a current high school student or has fewer than 24 college credits.
  • Official SAT or ACT (optional for international applicants) scores if applicant is a current high school student or has fewer than 24 college credits.
  • Official college transcripts from every institution the applicant has attended (for transfer students and freshmen who may have dual credits)

BVU practices a holistic review of each applicant’s credentials. This means that a variety of factors are considered when making an admissions decision. We care about more than just how great of a test-taker you are.

BVU looks for students who have chosen college preparatory classes in high school, four years of challenging coursework, and achieved success. Those students earning a 3.0 cumulative GPA are given preference in admission; however, this is not a minimum requirement. Good grades also lead to higher class rankings! Ranking in the top half of your class provides preference in admission, but is not a requirement. Have a 20 or above on the ACT? Apply to BVU! If not, still give it a shot. We seek strong, motivated students who are willing to put in the work when times get tough. Meaning, we measure emotional intelligence, too.

How did you keep busy in high school? Did you have a job, volunteer around your hometown, or get involved in other activities that were important to you? All of the things that make you who you are, are important to us, too. So, tell us more!

Affordable College is Right Here

At BVU, there’s no essay or application fee. We know you want an affordable college, which is why 75 percent of our average aid award is free money, meaning scholarships and grants that you don’t have to pay back! And did you know that the average scholarship is over 50 percent off of tuition? When you complete the FAFSA, use BVU's code: 001847 to find out just how much you’ll receive.

Apply- It's easy! No essay or application fee, and we accept students on a rolling basis. You'll know if you're accepted two weeks after completing your file.
