Students who choose BVU’s marketing concentration learn to successfully develop and promote a business’s products and services through courses in advertising, sales, market research, consumer behavior, distribution and pricing strategy. Students graduate with skills in developing and managing a competitive marketing plan, and gain a deep understanding of the social and psychological aspects of consumer behavior through “real-world” research projects that allow students to assist companies in excelling in the marketplace.

Program Description:

The marketing concentration at BVU is focused on the “marketing concept” philosophy. Using this approach, companies first find out what customers need and then develop effective solutions tailored to meet those needs. Based on their superior understanding of the customer, a business with a good marketing strategy will do this more effectively and profitability than their competitors. Marketing students receive excellent theoretical training and learn how to practically apply strategies in a business setting.
