Dr. Goodfriend is a social psychologist who has published dozens of journal articles and book chapters. She is also the author or editor of 12 books, including Social Psychology, which won the Most Promising Textbook of the Year Award in 2019 from the Textbook & Academic Authors Association. Her research focuses on understanding and preventing relationship violence, sexism, and homophobia. Dr. Goodfriend has received the Wythe Award for Excellence in Teaching and has been voted Faculty of the Year by BVU students three times.
