Jerry Johnson has produced and directed a wide array of documentaries, short films, corporate videos, news specials, and promotions. Under his direction the Digital Media students have received awards for short films, a full-length documentary and a variety of television programs. Jerry is also the advisor to the University Cable Network Studios (UCN Studios). He is also engaged in film and television organizations in Iowa including Iowa Motion Picture Association and the Iowa College Media Association. He is also considered the resident Disney expert on campus, taking students every year to Disney to learn about the power of storytelling.
