As the resident designer David has designed over 50 mainstage productions including: Much Ado About Nothing, A Flea in Her Ear, Hot L Baltimore, Galileo, How I Learned To Drive, Translations, Proof, Pirates of Penzance, Doubt and Little Shop of Horrors. He has directed for the mainstage including: Comedy of Errors and ART. He has designed or consulted on numerous productions in the Storm Lake and northwest Iowa area. David has served as an Iowa High School Speech Association All State Judge. He is involved in film development and training. He serves the BVU community as the Director of Technical Productions which includes: The Buena Vista University Theatre, BVU commencement,Founders' Day and the American Heritage Lecture Series.
