Upcoming Productions

The University Theatre offers a Main Stage season of three productions each year. Over a four year time span, a representative sampling of classical and contemporary plays, including Shakespeare, modern realism, contemporary, and musical theatre, are presented. Students gain invaluable knowledge and experience from the hands-on work involved in producing these plays, but also as patrons who attend.

BVU Theatre participates in the Kennedy Center/ American College Theatre Festival Region V. Mainstage shows are entered in the regional festival each year and receive feedback from regional experts. Each year, between two and six students are selected to compete for the national Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship.

BVU Digital Media, Theatre Students Collaborate to Create Special "Pop Chef" Webisode
