On November 30th we are hosting the SHOWOFF festival ceremony, we are also offering workshops with our Digital Media professors to allow our guests to get some hands-on media experience.
The workshops are being offered during BVU’s SHOWOFF Student Media Festival, but are open to all interested students and faculty.The day begins with registration at 9:30 a.m.

The schedule of events includes:
- 9:30 AM: Registration
- 9:50 AM: Welcome
- 10-11:30 AM: Workshops
- 11:30-12 PM: Lunch
- 12-12:45 PM: Campus Tours
- 12:45-2:15 PM: SHOWOFF Student Media Festival ceremonies. This is when SHOWOFF entrants’ work will be displayed.
The workshops are as follows:
University Cable Network Workshop
Students will engage in a talk show production, under the tutelage of the UCN staff.
KBVU 97.5 Radio Workshop
Students will have the opportunity to learn about audio production from the staff of KBVU.
The Tack Student On-Line Newspaper Workshop
Students will work with editors from BVU’s online student newspaper in a workshop on digital journalism.
Social Media Branding Workshop
Dr. Andrea Frantz will engage students in a social media session.
