This research focuses on an analysis of group of people that are more likely to change majors in college. Being an international student, I believe that being in new education system, family priorities, social status, high school classes, family profession, and various other factors, international students tend to change their major more often than do American students. For this research I will analyze factors that influence students to change majors. Primary survey data will be collected from 40 international student and 40 domestic students of all grade levels. A regression model will be estimated for testing the hypotheses. This will allow the prediction of factors most significant in students changing majors. Finally, this regression will allow me to better advise both international and domestic students with respect to changing majors.
